A recent study of tropical trees planted there in the early 1990s reported a surprising result.

Tropical rainforest climate temperature. The range is temperature throughout the year is low. As strange as it sounds the warmest places on the planet also tend to be the wettest. The average temperature in tropical rainforests ranges from 70 to 85F 21 to 30C.

Tropical Rainforest Climate These areas are dominated by maritime tropical air masses and usually have the same temperature over the year. Such warm temperature leads to lots of evaporation and as the warm moist air rises it cools and eventually condenses and falls back to the Earth as rain. They are higher from October to March while they become quite cool in winter.

The rainforest is a plant community of tall trees. The warm and wet climate supports very diverse ecosystems. The environment is pretty wet in tropical rainforests maintaining a high humidity of 77 to 88 year-round.

The yearly rainfall ranges from 80 to 400 inches 200 to 1000 cm and it can rain hard. About 80 of all living species are located in these environments. The range of the temperature is between 29 to 35 degrees Celsius.

As an example in Belem the coldest month is February at 30C 86F and the hottest month is October with a temperature of 32C 89C This consistent temperature is due to the sun being almost straight overhead. Tropical rainforests can have as much as 300 cm of rain a year. The average temperature in the tropical rainforest is between 20 and 25C.

The average daily temperatures range from 20c 68f to 25c 77f. The climate in the Amazon is extremely crazy. This gives it a warm temperature and plenty of rain.
